Garmin World Map, CD-ROM Overview

The MapSource™ WorldMap CD-ROM provides coverage worldwide with basemap-level detail, including political boundaries, cities, towns, major motorways and/or interstates and principal highways, lakes, major streams and rivers, urban areas, and railroads. WorldMap displays excellent coastline detail which includes many offshore islands, as well as worldwide nautical navaids such as daybeacons, radiobeacons, RACONs, fog signals, lights, buoys, and other navaids. Also shown are U.S. interstate exits information such as service stations, gas stations, restaurants, hotels, campsites, hospitals, banks, and more.

This is the only product currently available with any detail at all for IRAQ or Afghanistan.  It will show you major roads, cities & towns, waterways, airports and railways. Though not street-level detailed, it will help you orient yourself when to are in-country.  We recommend use with Vista or VistaC or any Garmin GPS with electronic compass.
