like this that require an unlock code are revised regularly -
usually near summertime. If you unlock an older map after
the revision date, there usually is no charge to upgrade to the
latest version. Maps unlocked before the revision date will have
an upgrade fee to get the new version. However, you may
find that you do not need to upgrade each year - it is not
required. Some people postpone their purchases until
after the release date to avoid the upgrade fee. You will find
more information on upgrading on the unlock
