City Navigator® NT street maps for North
America and millions of points of interest (POIs) such as
hotels, restaurants, fuel stations, ATMs and more. nüvi
770 goes one step further -- preloaded with both
City Navigator® NT street maps for North
America and Europe.
Simply touch
the color screen to enter a destination, and nüvi takes you
there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions.
It even announces the name of exits and streets so you never have to
take your eyes off the road. In addition, nüvi
760 accepts custom
points of interest, such as school zones and safety cameras and
lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs.

driving. nüvi 770 and nüvi
760 integrate Bluetooth
wireless technology with a built-in microphone and
speaker for hands-free calling. Just pair it with your compatible
Bluetooth phone and talk hands-free through the nüvi while
staying focused on the road. Simply dial numbers with nüvi's
touchscreen keypad to make a call. To answer calls, just tap the
screen and speak directly into its built-in microphone. This
is perfect for those states that do not allow you to use handheld
cellphones. Bluetooth is
one feature not available on the nüvi

Am I?
Keep track of yourself
and your car with nüvi
700 series. Just tap "Where Am
I?" to find the closest hospitals, police
stations, fuel stations, nearest address and intersection. Also see
your exact latitude and longitude coordinates. nüvi
700 series
even remembers where you parked. It automatically marks your
position when you remove it from the windshield mount, so you can
navigate with nüvi on foot and find your way back to your vehicle.
Perfect for unfamiliar spots and crowded lots such as amusement
parks, stadiums and malls.
Plan
Ahead
nüvi
700 series
includes advanced navigational features to take the worry out of
traveling. With route planning you can save 10 routes, specify via
points and preview simulated turns on the unit's wide screen. In
addition, nüvi
700 series automatically
sorts multiple destinations to provide an efficient route for
errands, deliveries or sales calls. It also displays speed limits
for highways and Interstates. A trip log provides an
electronic bread crumb trail of up to 10,000 points, so you can see
where you've been on the map.

lithium-ion battery makes it convenient for navigation by car or on

Beyond Navigation
Navigation is just the
beginning. nüvi 700 series includes many “must have” entertainment and
travel tools including MP3 player, audio book player (subscription
to Audible.com required), JPEG picture viewer, currency converters
and more. With nüvi's wireless FM transmitter¹ you can hear audio,
including voice prompts, MP3s and audio books, through your
vehicle's stereo. It also includes optional MSN® Direct and comes
with Garmin Lock™, an anti-theft feature, and configurable
vehicle icons that let you select car-shaped graphics to show
your location on the map. Optional software on plug-and-play SD
cards for language
translation, detailed travel guide and savings
program allow you to customize nüvi for your travel needs.
Language Guide™ software
Users can access an
optional Garmin Language Guide, with data provided by Oxford
University Press. This software suite contains a multilingual word
bank, phrase bank, and five bilingual dictionaries. The
multilingual word bank and phrase bank supports nine languages and
dialects, including American English, British English, French,
German, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, European Portuguese,
European Spanish, and Latin American Spanish. The Language Guide
lets travelers look up and translate more than 17,000 words or
20,000 phrases per language. Through the unit’s text-to-speech
interface, users can get a spoken
pronunciation of each entry in the word bank—along with gender
and part-of-speech information.
Travel Guide™ software
The new Garmin
Travel Guide is loaded with information provided by Marco Polo.
These guides put in-depth travel information—such as reviews and
recommendations for restaurants, tourist attractions, and
more—at the user’s fingertips.
Travelers can use
the nüvi to navigate to an address or search points of interest (POIs)—places
like hotels, restaurants, shopping, and tourist attractions. The nüvi
automatically calculates the fastest route and provides
voice-prompted turn-by-turn directions along the way. Thanks to
the nüvi’s text-to-speech functionality, the unit audibly
announces the name of upcoming streets—letting drivers keep
their eyes on the road while navigating through busy traffic and
tricky roadways. If users stray off course, the nüvi
automatically calculates the quickest way to get back on track.
Real Time Tracking
is now available! Now you can have affordable
navigation, dispatch and tracking in an integrated package! The
